Hee hee… one month since my last post !! wow ! Not that i had nothing to post or share , i just went on a trip !

For the last 3 weeks we were away on a small trip to the East coast : New Hampshire !! Actually a business trip for the hubby and a fun trip for us combined ! It was amazing and we really needed the diversion. But because of it, i had to resign from all my CTs for the month of august too !! :(

Anyway… now I'm back home and all ready to scrap !! Just wanted to give a heads up (to who ever might be listening) !! see you all soon…

Lots of Happenings….

Being on a creative team was one of the best things in the my life. And every time i apply for one, i go through the same nerve –racking, nail- biting process… And when i have to leave one, its soo soo hard. Right now, due to lots of things happening fast on the personal front, I've decided to let go of most of them. And let me tell you, its sooo darn hard !! I loved being on their teams and the designers i worked for were such sweethearts ! Its soo sad not working for them anymore. I’m definitely gonna miss each and every one of them !!

Its been a week since , and one would think, i must of lots of time on my hand, well, i had so many things planned and i’m not even half way through any of them.

Right now, i have 3-4 photo books in the works. I’ve planned on photo- cum- scrap album for all of them.The first book is is to document my parents visit to the US. Its almost complete. And once i’m through with it, i’ll definitely, definitely post about it.

For now… i’ll just share some layouts i finished in the last week (LOs from my CT days !! )

Summer is finally here and its so refreshing to feel the sun , after months of snow and rain and chill. There are lots of summer activities in and around our town in the coming weeks , so my time with the PC is going to be limited. but that also means more pictures to scrap !!

This month, i’m guesting for 3 designers !! And am i excited. All 3 of them are amazing designers and i’ve been admiring their works for quite some time now. So guesting for them, is such a big deal for me.

I’m really excited to show my layouts for this week. Mainly because i consciously tried a different style !

My scrapping style over the years has been an evolving and ever changing one. But mostly i stuck to clustering and layering and an overall simple design. But recently i wanted to try minimalistic designs too. Also in other pages, i wanted to see if i can use lots of clusters and layering too !! So here are the fruits of those experiments.

I’m really excited. amber from Stolen Moments has just released her next set of CT inspired Templates - ‘Scrap my number : Just call me keyr’ . And this time, she used my layouts for inspirations. I was really happy and excited to see what the other girls would do with these temps. And boy did they rock !!

I also made one layout !! Yes… using my own previous design. :)

Last week of feb.., already ?! The weather seems to be improving here and i seriously hope we have an early spring (!!).

Last week, i made my first layout for Damayanti Studio. I’m guesting for FEB and MAR. I loooove her clean designs.And her kind of design style is very popular. Check out her blog and also her store here to take in all of her wonderful designs.

It certainly was an exciting weekend for me. i finally got the photobook i ordered from Shutterfly !! I made a scrap-photobook of my son’s ‘First Year’ or should i say ‘Baby Book’. This is my second photobook from shutterfly. Those guys are awesome. Their quality is just too good ! I took some pictures of this book and i wanted to share them with you all.

And if anyone is wondering about the products or anything in particular, let me know, just leave me a note.

So how many are still doing P365 ?!… i know many have already abandoned it. And some have switched over to P52 or P12. I initially didn't think about doing any of it…but now.. i feel P12 should be a good choice for me. And here is my January’10 layout. Also for this weeks FREEBIE, I've made this into a template. First of all… thanks for all the wonderful messages you guys left for the template i made. Its so sweet of you all. And i guess i can confidently make some more.. Look out for one in the beginning of next week.

Yari of Jadyday Studio has a new kit this week…its called ‘Winter in Hooville’. Its an absolutely adorable and subtle winter themed kit. And i’m sure you guys would love it !!

Amber from Stolen Moments has a new set of templates in the stores. Its called ‘Paper Punches V.1’. And believe me, these templates along with their punched out scraps, will definitely broaden your scrapping comfort zones. It certainly did mine. And they are a great addition to your scrapping tools.

Rachel from Captivated Visions has a super elegant kit in the stores.. Its called ‘Travelogue’ and of course.. its a travel themed kit. But this one is for the more mature and elegant scrapper. Its got lots of journaling notes and lots of beautiful papers. Also it is very useful for scrapping about one self too…

Its been a long time since i gave away anything… and making temps are very new to me. So please bear with me as i learn to make them.

And drop in from time to time, I'll keep posting them, as and when i finish it. And I'd love to see them in use, so pls drop me a link if you do.

Lots of new products from but not that many layouts to show you all… but i do have a couple.

Here is the my first layout using Jady Day Studio’s kit. Its an old kit and its already in the stores…but i liked it soo much that i had to grab it.

Its called ‘Backyard Splash’. and it has everything cute you can think of in a playful water themed kit. Here is my layout and don’t you just love those water splats and pail and the sprinklers ??!!

Last weekend we celebrated my son’s birthday. He turned two. so naturally i had some bunch of pictures waiting to be scrapped. And what's the perfect kit to scrap birthday pics ?!….SuzyQ scraps ‘And many more…’ collection of course !!! I used the ‘Bright’ one for my layouts coz’ the colors coordinated perfectly with Abhi’s shirt.

Hey guys…. Hope you all had a wonderful wonderful thanksgiving. And hope you have a an exciting weekend !! I have lots of layouts to share and also an exciting news.

Its Monday so that means sharing some layouts I've been working on using the designers kits. And i also have a FREEBIE for you all. So keep reading..

Here are a couple of layouts i made using Stacey’s new kits. This first one is using her ‘F is for Family Reunion’ kit.

You know what…its snowing !!! How weird and totally upsetting is that and Its not even the middle of October yet . We expected a gorgeous fall color season this year but it didn't turn out that way. And while most of the trees haven’t yet shed their leaves its already snowing !

Oh well..back to scrapping… i used Amber’s latest kit, ‘Into the Night’ for a layout. I’m really happy with how it turned out and its become one of my favorites.

Hey guys… Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far. Here in Wisconsin, Fall colors is just starting to explode… and for the place where we are , this happens to be the best week to view the gorgeous Fall Colors. So if weather permitting, we should go for some beautiful drives up north.

So far this week , we’ve been spending time indoors due to rain and really cold weather outside. But this was good for my scrapping. And i managed to finish some layouts. I used Stacey’s new freebie ‘E’ is for Exercise kit for this one.

Scrap that Idea’s new Collab and my layouts

I’m back with another layout(s) !! And this time i’ve used Scrap that Idea’s latest collab ‘October Harvest’. Here is my first layout. I scrapped some pictures from our recent trip to Dells. These pictures were taken in the Storybook gardens and wildlife park.

Today i thought I'd share a couple of my recent layouts with you all. And one of them is a layout i made using Stacey’s new kit. Every week , apart from working on CT layouts, i also work on my personal layouts as well. And sometimes I'll never have time to do even one. But sometimes… like the past week and a half, i get some quality scrapping time.

I stumbled upon the ‘2 pager’ scrapping style very recently and what a blessing it has been,especially for all those events where i have a million pictures and i need at least a quarter of them to tell the story and our experience. My inspirations for 2 pagers are Yin of Yin’s Designs and Becky Higgins’s Sketches.

So let me show you what i have come up with….First is using Stacey’s new kit ‘C’ is for County Fair . As the name suggests i used it to scrap our july4th carnival using it. And the design is inspired from a LO from a magazine i read sometime back (plss forgive me….i don’t remember who or when )

And for my next layout, i used pics from my DH’s visit to the UK. And i used ‘Great Britain’ kit from Honey Designs. And guess what, this was a FREEBIE some time back. She has these amazing travelling collection under ‘1000 places to see before you Die’ series and with all extracted embellishments. Its really beautiful and worth it. And many of them are FREE. (pssst…for all those twilight fans out there…. she has a collection on that too… and you won’t believe how superb that one is !! )

And for the background paper i used an actual map of UK (from Google maps !! ) and blended it into 2 textured papers. I’ll post the detailed credits in my galleries.

Hi there…welcome back for a wonderful week ahead. We had a wonderful weekend as well. We went Parasailing in Wisconsin Dells !! The experience was sooo awesome. I was contemplating on whether or not i should do it.. but once off the boat…every single moment, was truly worth it !! I will share all the pics in the form of future layouts…

As for designers products being released this week… first up is Stacey from Stacey’s Scraps. She has two cute kits out. The first is also a special one. She has made a kit called ‘For Mason’ and all the proceeds from this kit goes to AUTISM SPEAKS organization. What a wonderful gesture and all the more reason to buy this product. Sorry…no freebies today guys. I was busy the whole week and couldn't get one ready for you all. Hopefully I'll have one by next week. Amber of Stolen Moments has released her new kit at SUN. Its called ‘Summer Sailor’. Its such a fantastic kit with so many elements. Here’s my layout using this adorable kit..
